Mary Osborne
Mary was diagnosed with Fuch’s Dystrophy on June 7, 2001. Her first cornea transplant in her left eye was rejected. She was sent to another specialist who did a second corneal transplant on her left eye in January 2005, and a third specialist did a third corneal transplant on her left eye in August 2009 with difficulty.
Mary is grateful to be able to read, and she can thread a needle and mend. She enjoys knitting. She gave up driving entirely in 2005, and turned 88 years old in October 2012.
