Mary Evans
Mary had her cornea transplant in October 2010. It was on her travels to Romania that she was able to spot this beautiful rose aching to bloom. “We were touring a monastery in Romania,” Evans recalled, “Weak sunshine was trying to come through the clouds as we walked down the path to the parking lot. This beautiful rose was perfectly lit to highlight the raindrops and the wonderful variation of color.”
It is exactly the kind of sight transplant recipients often missed before having their sight restored.
