Mary Ann Fox

Complications from LASIK surgery damaged Mary Ann Fox’s corneas beyond repair. Nearly five years later she had corneal transplant surgery to restore her vision. “I can see now. It’s wonderful to be able to see sunsets, sunrises and the beauty of nature.” Mary Ann is a very giving person, having served in the Peace Corp. Now that she has been on the receiving end of things she said, “It’s a gift for all of us when people choose to donate on their family member’s behalf. Their spirit truly lives on in us. I have such an appreciation for all donor families.”
