Dennis Towns, a very active and passionate farmer, was 56 when he lost sight in his left eye from a farming accident. After six surgeries over six years, he regained his sight. "It is incredible after all these years, all these surgeries and recoveries," said his wife Karen. Dennis is now able to "safely operate" tractors, semi-trucks and combines. He no longer has to constantly swivel his head to ensure he's working the field in a straight line. To celebrate Dennis’ recovery, he and Karen took a trip to Costa Rica where they zip-lined and describe it as "an incredible first time experience."
