David lived with Fuch’s Dystrophy for 15 years before his first cornea transplant in 2016. His vision has improved dramatically since the procedure.

“My wife is an art quilter. I can now fully appreciate her work, especially close-up. The colors in her quilts are now vibrant and distinct to me, and I love being able to discern her skill at quilting. This close-up of one of her quilts represents the full beauty of what I can now perceive.”
