Darnel B.
Darnel has a great sense of humor, even during a life changing event like a cornea transplant. “Now everything I see doesn’t appear airbrushed like a bad high school yearbook photo!” He suffered from Fuch’s Dystrophy for about five years before undergoing surgery on his right eye in July 2010 and his left eye in July 2012. He sees much clearer now and appreciates the finer things in life: his wife’s beautiful face, his Italian greyhound and the ability to drive without seeing “halos” around oncoming headlights.
