 “It is a miracle. Everything is so much clearer and brighter,” describes Ann of her vision since her cornea transplants.  Her first cornea transplant, in her left eye in 2011, was successful but it took quite some time for her to fully recover. Ann underwent her second cornea transplant, a partial thickness transplant, in March 2012 and because it was a less invasive procedure she recovered very quickly. Ann is now able to continue working on a part-time basis and enjoys reading and driving once again. “I chose this photo because the colors were so vivid, and I was so happy to be celebrating my 63^rd wedding anniversary with my husband.”
